Coolest Site of Web 2.0 and Beyond

OK hands down the coolest site and number one on the hit parade of MAPS is Google Maps? I like the satellite images and love to Zoom into a place. Way back in the dim ages before computers I use to look at stereoscopic images in Forestry school. Google Maps is way more fun! The terrain feature is OK, Not to excited about the traffic application. But the satellite images are pretty amazing, still can't zoom in close enough to see who has umbrella drinks and who is drinking beer at the party, but you could sure get a map to find the party. Play around a bit with My Maps adding my house to a Map for easy location. Have not drawn any lines on the map yet but that is a cool feature. Interfacing with Google Earth, what more could you want from the Internet. I have always loved looking at maps this is absolutely the best. More high resolution. I can't see how it only Google Maps rates only 4 stars for Social Aspects. Make a better map to your party some where else? I don't think so. Just think if Columbus would of had this technology! The library could mark all it's bookmobile stops and branch locations. Any way you look at it Google Maps rule.

Like a Sea Turtle

I've been going to this beach in Florida since before I was born. My parents loved this place and I have tried to make a trip there at least once a year like some kind of logger head sea turtle returning to the sands of its birth ever since.

The sand is almost pure white clear since it is 99% pure quartz crystal. It is the texture of fine powder sugar. In the middle of the hottest day the sand is cool because it is so reflective. When I was a kid I thought all beaches were like Crescent Beach. The giant arc of sand is created by a natural rock outcropping called Point of Rocks.

The white soft sand and warm slat water rejuvenate my soul . My next visit there will be in August of 2010 which seems like a long way away, So if your ever on the west coast of Florida near Sarasota stop off at Siesta Key and enjoy the fine sands of Crescent Beach!

7 1/2 Steps to Life Long Learning

Is there any way to go back into the old box once the box is opened, I guess not they recycled it. Always save the original packaging along with your receipt.

Hardest- Trying to read print that is too small or changing at it's own speed I hate moving targets when I'm reading. Pause, Pause, Pause.

Easiest - Playing is fun. Play, Play Play
Remember "The Shinning" ? " All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!"

So in Summary I like to learn by playing! Let me think about that and I'll tell you more.

More noise

Blogs like weeds just keep popping up. The noise gets louder.
